Palladio, Andrea (1508-1580)
Vicenza, Olympic Theatre, interior: the grandiose proscenium, the cavea and the loggia. The Theatre was designed by Andrea Palladio. Construction started in 1580, the year of the architect's death. The works were continued by his son Silla with the intervention of Vincenzo Scamozzi for the scene and the famous Seven Streets of Thebes.
