Bust of Pierre de Ronsard, 1524-85, French poet, in the Galerie de la Reine or Queen's Gallery, decorated in 16th century Renaissance style and restored by Felix Duban in 1861-66, on the first floor of the Francois I wing, built early 16th century in Italian Renaissance style, at the Chateau Royal de Blois, built 13th - 17th century in Blois in the Loire Valley, Loir-et-Cher, Centre, France. The gallery overlooks the gardens and houses an important portrait collection. The chateau has 564 rooms and 75 staircases and is listed as a historic monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
