Portrait of Charles de Gontaut, duc de Biron, 1562-1602, in the portrait gallery of the Musee des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Blois, housed in the Louis XII wing since 1869, in the Chateau Royal de Blois, built 13th - 17th century in Blois in the Loire Valley, Loir-et-Cher, Centre, France. The museum originally opened in 1850 in the Francois I wing, but moved here in 1869 after the rooms had been restored by Felix Duban in 1861-66.
