Gardens, remodelled 20th century after original gardens were destroyed to use as training grounds for French troops stationed here, seen from the terrace of the Royal Palace of Venaria, or Reggia di Venaria Reale, a royal residence of the House of Savoy, built from 1675 in Baroque style by Amedeo di Castellamonte, for Carlo Emanuele II duke of Savoy, in Venaria Reale, Piedmont, Italy.
