Courtyard of Honour with Fontana del Cervo or Fountain of the Stag, at the Royal Palace of Venaria, or Reggia di Venaria Reale, a royal residence of the House of Savoy, built from 1675 in Baroque style by Amedeo di Castellamonte, for Carlo Emanuele II duke of Savoy, in Venaria Reale, Piedmont, Italy. In the centre is the original 17th century wing and on the left, the 18th century wing. Built for hunting parties, the building celebrates the royal hunt in its design and decoration.
