Salle de l'assommoir, built to operate the drawbridge and from where to throw projectiles, and later used as a study and treasury by the duc de Sully, in the first floor of the western tower in the entrance building, in the Chateau de Sully-sur-Loire, Loiret, France. The castle was built from the 14th century by Raymond du Temple for Guy de La Tremoille, and has been home to the lords of Sully, the La Tremoilles and the Bethunes.
