Episcopal consecration on 8th December 1658 of Francois de Montmorency-Laval, 1623-1708, first catholic bishop of Quebec, received from  from Cardinal Celio Piccolomini, in the Saint-Germain abbey, polychrome relief, in the Eglise Saint-Germain-des-Pres, the abbey church of the Abbaye de Saint-Germain-des-Pres, a Benedictine abbey founded in the 6th century on the Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France.
