Main bedroom, with stucco painted with reeds and rushes on the walls, and paper-mache vines between the ceiling beams, on the first floor of Casa Vicens, a Catalan Modernist and Art Nouveau style house designed by Antoni Gaudi, 1852-1926, and built 1883, on the Carrer de les Carolines in the Gracia district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The house was commissioned by Manuel Vicens i Montaner as a summer residence and contains many references to mudejar architecture. The building is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
