Portico, built 1st century AD, on the Calle de Sagasta in the Roman Forum of Emerita Augusta, founded in 25 BC by Emperor Augustus, in Merida, Extremadura, Spain. The portico was originally decorated with heads of Medusa and Jupiter Ammon, caryatids and corinthian capitals on fluted columns. The Forum forms part of the Merida UNESCO World Heritage Site.
