Rambla del Mar, a wooden footbridge opened 1994, designed by Helio Pinon and Albert Viaplana, leading to Maremagnum, in the evening, Port Vell, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. In the distance are yachts and the Hotel Vela. The bridge connects the Portal de la Pau at the bottom of La Rambla with the Moll d’Espanya and the Maremagnum leisure and shopping complex, and sailing clubs. The bridge can be raised to allow boats to pass to access the docks. Picture by Manuel Cohen
