Ermita de Sant Baldiri, or St Baldiri Hermitage, church adjoining the town cemetery, built 1702, in Cadaques, on the Cap de Creus peninsula, Catalonia, Spain. The church was originally dedicated to St Abdo and St Senent, who were said to be saved by the people of Cadaques after being shipwrecked in Portlligat. Cap de Creus is a rocky peninsula near the French border in the northern Costa Brava, with headlands, cliffs and coves, protected as a natural park since 1998. Picture by Manuel Cohen
