Effigy of Simon Matifas de Bussy, d. 1304, archbishop of Paris 1290-1304, in the ambulatory of the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, or Notre-Dame cathedral, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. His body is buried in the Chapelle des Sept Douleurs, the 8th chapel of the ambulatory. The chapel was built from 1296 under Simon Matifas de Bucy, 83rd bishop of Paris 1298-1304.
