St Genevieve is born in Nanterre in 423 AD, in the room are her parents, St Germain d’Auxerre and a choir of angels, stained glass window, by Alfred Gerente, 1821-68, after designs by Steinhel, depicting the Legend of St Genevieve, patron saint of Paris, in the cloister, rebuilt 1845-50 in Neo Gothic style during restoration by Lassus and Viollet-le-Duc, at the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, or Notre-Dame cathedral, built 1163-1345 in French Gothic style, on the Ile de la Cite in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France.
