Ansignan Aqueduct, or Pont-aqueduc d’Ansignan, a stone arched bridges over the river Agly in Ansignan, Pyrenees-Orientales, Catalogne du Nord, France. There was originally a Roman bridge here which was replaced in the 9th century and subsequently altered in the 13th and 14th centuries. The bridge has 29 arches and 2 levels, one for the aqueduct and a lower tunnel level for pedestrians. It is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
