Statues of 3 of the 12 apostles and the winged bull symbol of the Evangelist Luke, at the base of the fleche or spire of Notre Dame de Paris, Ile de la Cite, Paris, France. The spire was built c. 1860 under Eugene Viollet le Duc, who was restoring the cathedral.  The cathedral itself was built 1160-1345 and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Property in 1991 as part of the Banks of the Seine.
