Boudoir, the queen's powder room, with Empire style furniture including chairs with nacre inserts from the Villa Reale in Marlia near Lucca, and 18th century portraits in pastel, some by Giovanna Fratellini the Medici court painter, in the Villa La Petraia, a 14th century Villa Medicea at Castello, Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The villa was bought by Cosimo I de Medici in the 16th century and his son Ferdinand carried out remodelling on the building with architect Bernardo Buontalenti, 1531-1608.
