Terrace and Italian garden designed by Il Tribolo, 1500-50, at the Villa La Petraia, a 14th century Villa Medicea at Castello, Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The villa was bought by Cosimo I de Medici in the 16th century and his son Ferdinand carried out remodelling on the building with architect Bernardo Buontalenti, 1531-1608.
