Entrance gate in iron in the shape of a dragon, by Joan Onos, at Los Pabellones de la Finca Guell, or the Finca Guell pavilions, designed 1883-87 by Antoni Gaudi, 1852-1926, commissioned by Eusebi Guell, in Pedralbes, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The dragon represents Ladon, guardian of the Garden of the Hesperides. The buildings were built during Gaudi's orientalist period, with influences from India, Persia, Japan and Hispanic Islamic art.
