Christ, attended by angels, is baptised in the river Jordan by St John the Baptist, with the Virgin and St Dominic looking on. The original convent was rebuilt 1437-52 for Cosimo I de Medici by Michelozzo di Bartolomeo Michelozzi, 1396-1472, in Renaissance style.
