Hundreds of spectators watch two fighting cocks during the
"Gauderfest" in Zell am Ziller in the Tyroplean Alps. The fighting cocks are trained by local youngsters throughout the year, but the fights are limited to a few minutes and are not a life-and-death battle. The festival dates back to the 16th century. Zell am Ziller, 1951
