Budapest in 1998: The Martyr's Cemetery - Rakoskereszturer Cemetery - where most of the executed insurgents were buried. In the foreground the tombstone of Ilona Toth, a physician in a Budapest hospital. Member of a group of Freedom Fighters, she was executed at age 24. Between December 1956 and June 1961 some 230 persons were executed because of their involvement in the Revolution.
