A low angle view of the Stadium entrance, on April 13, 2007, in Olympia, Greece. The Stadium was rebuilt in its current position to the East of the sanctuary in the 5th century BC. The 32 metre long vaulted athletes' entrance, seen in the early morning, was added in the late 3rd century BC. After being covered by alluvial deposits for hundreds of years Olympia was rediscovered in 1776, and excavated in the 19th century.
