A low angle view of a tower of the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, on April 11, 2006 in Toledo, Spain. The Monastery, in the Gothic-Spanish-Flemish style was founded by King Ferdinand (1452-1516) and Queen Isabella (1451-1504) to commemorate their victory over the Portuguese at Toro in 1476. It was built between 1477 and 1504 by architect Juan Guas, and restored after being damaged in the Napoleonic wars and abandoned in 1835. (Photo by Manuel Cohen)
