The well rounded cat, whose fat tail points towards us on a November morning, is typical of the work of Columbian painter and sculptor, Fernando Botero, born in Medellin in 1932. Purchased by Barcelona City Council in 1987 the Cat has moved around the city and is now situated in the Ramblas of El Raval.
