A general view of the Sanctuary of Apollo at sunrise, on April 11, 2007, Delphi, Greece. From left to right, one can see the Sacred Way, the Polygonal Wall and the Altar of Chians, the East side of the Temple of Apollo with the ramp of ascent in the centre. The ruins of the Temple of Apollo belong to the 4th century BC, the third temple built on the site, still in the Doric order and completed in 330BC. Its architects were the Corinthians Spintharos Xenodoros and Agathon.
