Detail of mural paintings depicting the Virgin and Child with the Magis in the central apse of Santa Maria de Taull Church, 1123, consecrated by Ramon Guillem, the bishop of Roda, Taull, Province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. The church was heavily renovated in the 18th century, with a dome added. Its frescoes were removed to the MNAC (National Art Museum of Catalonia, Barcelona) circa 1918. Santa Maria de Taull Church is part of the Catalan Romanesque churches of the Vall de Boi which were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in November 2000.
