A low angle view of 'God the father' crowned by the organ and the ceiling of the Cathedral of Saint Sauveur (St. Salvator) on February 08, 2009 in Bruges, Western Flanders, Belgium. This sculpture belongs to the rood screen of the cathedral. It is dated circa 1682, in marble, done by Artus II Quellin (Quellinus), and considered as a master piece of he Baroque style sculpture. The cathedral was started in 1280 and was ended in 1350. It is one of the largest and oldest churches in Bruges.
