Low angle view of the front of the St. Louis Cathedral (Cathedrale Saint Louis), Carthage, Tunisia, pictured on January 29, 2008, in the afternoon. This Cathedral, built in the late 19th century, commemorates the 13th century French King Louis IX who came to Tunis on his second crusade. According to legend he died on the site of this church during the siege of Tunis. The Christian church was the seat of the archbishop and a monastery. Today it is part of the National Archaeological Museum.  Picture by Manuel Cohen.
