Te Pito Kura, "navel of the world" is a ball-shaped,
very heavy stone which weighs approximately one ton
and has a diameter of one meter. The "navel" was once
brought to La Perouse-Bay, the place where J.F.Galaup,
comte de La Perouse landed in 1786.
