The Gumedruta ring, Lombardic or Ostrogothic, found at Bergamo, Italy; 6th-7th. Engraved with a female bust and inscribed in reverse "GUMED/RUTAVEC, the Germanic name Gumedruta followed by an abbreviated, honorific title ("Virgo Egregia"). She is shown wearing Byzantine-type clothing with a diadem with triple pendants.
