This edifice was erected, 1768, on Golden Hill, (now John Street) City of New York, was taken down & rebuilt, 1817, & rebuilt 1841. From the Original Painting in the Possession of Joseph Smith M D. Painted by Joseph B. Smith. Engraved by Lewis Delnoce. Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1868 by Joseph B. Smith & Co. in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of New York.
