Born in Bohemia, N?pravn?k (1839-1916) was the principal conductor of the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg from 1869 until his death. Lyadov (1855-1914) taught at the St Petersburg Conservatory from 1878. Found in the collection of the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art, Moscow.
