Vintage linen postcard showing the world's largest luxury liner, as she moves past the New York skyline towards her berth on the Hudson River. Launched in 1938, the 'Queen Elizabeth' served as a troopship in World War II before taking up her intended role on Cunard's transatlantic service to New York after the war. She was retired and sold in 1968.
