Plan and general view of the royal house of Nieuwburg
Plan and general view of the royal house of Nieuwburg, Plan and general view of the royal house of Nieuwburg located between Delft and The Hague (1697). In this rather overcrowded plate, the engraver J.A. Rietkesler combines views of the main and garden fronts of the palace at Rijswijk with a plan of the first and second floors distinguishing the areas occupied by the Allied and French ambassadors and the Swedish mediator. Text panels give the names of all the envoys and their secretaries.   Illustrated by J A Riekesler.
