Lady in a Polish-style dress
Lady in a Polish-style dress, 'Lady in a Polish-style dress, in striped taffeta, ornamented with gauze, as she replaces her garter and reveals a beautiful leg'. [Description] This polonaise is useful for morning and country wear, being attractive, light and casual; the skirts can be lifted high and it is made of light Indian striped taffeta with a net flounce. The polonaise had an open corsage, and a skirt of three rounded panels, short at the side and long at the back. The hat is in the tambourine style, of the same material as the dress, with three rows of pearls; three rows of curls caress the ears, which should be uncovered when they are pretty.
