Jade goldfish and shells, Qing dynasty, China, probably early 18th century. A jade carving of a pebble with goldfish, nautilus shell, cockle shell and conch beautifully carved with excellent details. The orange skin of the pebble has been retained to add colour to the goldfish. The base and details are all very finely incised.
