Ghiyath al-Din enthroned 
Ghiyath al-Din enthroned with attendants above, and preparation of rice in the kitchens below. Rice cooked with pulses or milk. The small inscription just below the throne is simply ''alaf', food or provender. The section is concerned with the cooking of rice or pulses with milk. Ghiyath Shahi bare-footed has seven attendants and is watching the cook in the foreground with his cooking pots. Opaque watercolour. Sultanate style. Image taken from The Ni'matnama-i Nasir al-Din Shah. A manuscript on Indian cookery and the preparation of sweetmeats, spices etc. Originally published/produced in 1495 - 1505.
