Farrukh Siyyar (1713-19), The emperor, facing right, stands in a flowery meadow holding a 'sarpesh' and a 'chauri'. There is a gold halo around his head and he is finely dressed in a jewelled turban and a gold jama with brocaded flowers. The pale blue sky is streaked and has coloured clouds towards the top. 196 by 117 mm; page 453 by 306 mm. Opaque watercolour.
