Arch of Constantine. Spandrel above the right arch of the south front with bas-reliefs. The long frieze depicts the Battle of the Milvian Bridge were Constantine defeated Maxentius. Marble, Imperial Roman, 313-315 CE. The medallions depicting Emperor Hadrian at the hunt (130-138 CE) belonged to an earlier structure dedicated to him.
