MEXICO, the Madrid or Tro-Cortesianus Codex combines the Troano and Cortesiano codex: it is a single codex; facsimile of Brasseur de Bourbourg (1869); Mayan culture. A man and a dog playing drums while a god sows with a stick-planter. The bars and dots are numbers, often of calendar items. Glyphs are a writing system where some glyphs express concepts, other syllables. This codex is composed of horoscopes and calendars designed to assist the priests in their predictions and ceremonies.
