At the top, in the center, two Inca princes wearing lace dresses and the Inca head piece "mascapaïcha". Perfect example of syncretism Spanish Indian. To the right, San Cristobal (Saint Christopher) and to the left, Saint Sebastian: they are carried around the plaza de Armas (main plaza) in Cuzco/Cusco; in the center, a wooden reliquary. All around, the creole and the society of the Andes of the 18th century. Viceroy Toledo organized this ceremony for the 1st time in June in order to make it coincide with the traditional ceremonies of this Andean region when harvesting is over and a new year begins with the solstice.
