The aztec/mexica god, Tezcatlipoca, God of War, main divinity of Aztecs from Florence/Florentino codex (circa 1570). He is wearing a headpiece made of quetzal (sacred bird) feathers.  This codex was done by the indians, under the supervision of the Franciscans monks, in the convent of Tlatelolco, 50 years after the Conquest.
