Lord Byron’s Gimmel Ring, ca. 1813?. Yellow gold. Diameter of ring, 7/8 inches (23 mm.). A tripartite friendship or lover’s ring, with clasped hands interlacing on the outer rings and paired hearts on the central ring which is inscribed. When worn, the ring conceals the inscription, and the hearts are invisible beneath the clasped hands. Inscription on flat surface of central ring: "NOEL BYRON FROM MY DEAR SISTER AUGUSTA". AZ122
