Three togate patricians. This particular type of toga was used in the mid 3rd-4th century CE. Marble high relief, Imperial Roman, mid-late 3rd century CE. The left and right heads date from the 2nd century CE. The central one was created during restoration. This reconstruction reflects the Neoclassical approach to restorations of ancient works of art.
