Hellenistic Walls and Necropolis. The fortification walls on the acropolis were probably built in Hellenistic times, but then were repaired in Byzantine and Turkish (Middle Ages) periods. The Necropolis was used both in Hellenistic and Roman times. It was located outside the city walls.
