West facade of King Charles Court, Royal Naval Hospital, Greenwich. This is the oldest building of the former hospital. It was designed by John Webb as a royal palace and built in 1662-69. Later additions by Sir Christopher Wren were completed in 1705. It served the original function of hospice for injured sailors until 1869. It was then occupied by the Royal Naval College. Since 1998 it houses the Trinity College of Music.
