The story of the Ganges, In the bottom left of the folio Rama asks Visvamitra to tell him the story of the river Ganges. In the centre of this folio Himavat, the Lord of the mountains, is seated on a throne on an icy mountain peak in the Himalayas with his wife and two daughters Ganga and Uma.
