Treasury of the Massaliots, with vestibule, cella and 2 columns, built c. 510 BC by the Massaliots (from Marseille), in the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, in Delphi, Greece. The treasury may be an ex-voto of the victory of the Massaliots over the Ligurians. The ancient city of Delphi was the seat of the oracle Pythia and the centre of the world to the ancient Greeks. It is situated on Mt Parnassus in the Parnassos National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
