Dolia, large clay containers used for storing wine or oil, Roman, in a Roman trading warehouse excavated and conserved at the Musee des Docks Romains, in Marseille, Provence, France. The dolia are approximately 1.7m high and 1.7m wide, holding up to 2,000 litres. The Roman warehouse was discovered in 1947 and the museum opened in 1963 and was renovated in 1987.
