Millbank Tower, London. Built in 1963 for engineering firm Vickers, the building was formerly known as the Vickers Tower. A Grade II Listed Building, it was designed by Ronald Ward and Partners. It is located half a mile from the Palace of Westminster and was has associations with both the Labour and Conservative parties. It became synonymous with Labour 'spin doctoring' after the party used two floors of the building for its 1997 General Election campaign, continuing to ocupy them until 2002. The Conservatives have had their campaign headquarters in the tower since 2006.
